Formatting and Organizing your wiki:

On the left you will find a tab for "Manage Wiki" here you will find four main groups that will allow even the most ignorant web user. It's split into four sections which help as follows:

Content: For management of pages and files
  • Add, Delete, rename pages
  • Lock and Unlock pages - allows just "organizer" to manipulate chosen pages
  • Access all files that have been uploaded
  • If you know how to hide but not delete pages, please let me know!!

People: Control who can see your wiki and what they are allowed to do
  • Invite, add, delete, users
  • With the upgraded version you can give specific access to certain users (parents or students) - we do not have access to this type of management

Settings: The format, feel, and look of your wiki
  • Change banners across the top
  • Change colors and text
  • Anything you want to change, there is a way to do it
  • If you want to take the time to write HTML code then you can manipulate just about anything - often if you search google you can find pre-written code and simply copy/paste in
  • Try to edit your ECA pages, I set mine up before ECA made the banner and format with the school logo - you may not be able to manipulate???

Tools: Find out how your wiki is used
  • Get stats on who uses your wiki, from where, and what dates
  • See who modifies your wiki and when
  • Find out how much space your wiki has left
